There are always other treasures to be discovered in the bush and I found this one last week hiding from since irma....the raccoons were living in there, so I didn't mess with it.....ill return and strip some bronze off this thing including the bronze running lights !!

Lots of digging Bart.
Question with the crusty ones-leave or beat them to clean?
How do you clean them?

I leave them.....almost every one of the crusties is a zincolin !! I throw them in a giant old treasure chest.....its almost full after about 4-5 years worth of crusty clad !! One day ill bury the whole kit and kaboodle at one of the 1715 beaches !!:laughing7::laughing7::laughing7:

I bet that sucker weighs 75 pounds already, and it has 20 more pounds to go !!

That would be a cool treasure to bury in a big old "Heavy" chest.:laughing7::laughing7::laughing7:

In our bottle digging frenzy days we acquired so many of the common ones (all the early machine made ones), that we dug this pit in the back yard.
600-800 bottles (forget the exact #) were laid down carefully in the pit, then covered over.
My dad built the new shed on top of the pit.
So probably some year in the future somebody will be going :icon_scratch::dontknow:??? when they unearth the stash.

Great collection of finds Bart, Congrats! Like the treasure chest idea! You should also create a map of the treasure's location and put it in a sealed bottle and place it on a beach somewhere, but I guess I'm suggesting littering!

Pepper....I throw all my toasted coins and clad in there.....if I can spend it then it goes in the regular change jar !! I take all the junk jewelry finds and throw them in there also !! So its a giant treasure chest of coins and jewelry !! The absolute best.....of my worst finds !! Ill take a pic....if I can even lift it ?? !!
