Hi everyone
I'm not from the area and was wondering if anyone from around here could help with sites or would like a partner for the area around here! I'm from the Midwest so I'd like to hunt a civil war site or something along those lines. I'll be in town until Monday. Any help would be appreciated!!

Well, it's not a "civil war" site, but I found silver coins (the usual mercs, roosies, washingtons, etc...) on the campus grounds of Bob Jones University. Even recall finding a foreign silver dollar with a date from the teens (forget which country). About the size and silver content of a USA silver dollar, so I always considered that my "first silver dollar", haha

Might be hard to get on campus though, as they're very strict, uppity up, "stay-on-sidewalks" kind of place. Not sure whether it's an open campus or not these days (where there's nothing to stop someone from simply driving or walking in).
