Just wanted to say hello, I signed up for the forum a few months back, but didn't quite get into the hobby till now. I'm living about a mile from the ocean now (thanks to mobile home rent making it possible), so I decided to start hitting the sand on a regular basis. My girlfriend likes to dig for the hit once I find it, God bless her. I feel really lucky to have someone who I can share the hobby with and spend time together enjoying it. She wants to go out gold prospecting with me too. Double jackpot! I wonder when she will start asking about her own detector??

First time out a few days ago, I had the ground balance on lock and didn't realize my mistake until I got back home. Still found $1.13 in clad, hopefully getting the settings correct will help make it easier next trip out. Maybe tomorrow?

Maybe I'll bump into someone from the boards here on one of my outings? I'll be the one swinging the MXT with the blond dig girl. Don't hesitate to stop and say hello. However, eyes on your own paper Chief! LOL!
