Yeah im spread like peanut butter between 3 states... Started metal detecting... 1964... had me a Relco at 1st.. That dam thing was garbage... thought it was all fake but then the cousin came by a year or two late with a whites coinmaster 1 and pulled up a penny... well that changed everything...Soon got me a coinmaster 4.... Back then nobody hardly knew what we had... and everywhere we went was VIRGIN ground... Yea, it was the Golden age of metal detecting. Cant even begin to tell you what I pulled out.. Probably easier to say what I never got... a GOLD COIN.... still looking and hoping for one of them... In Michigan im in the U.P [Upper michigan] and u^p there it all about Float copper... Biggest one yet about 21 pounds.
Have had in order on metal detectors... That relco- coninmaster 4- white's eagle sl- Garrett 2500- Minelab gps exreme - minelab safari .... and ready to upgrade one more time.... Thinking that french product XP deus sounds really good or maybe a minelab 800.
Got to say Calabash Digger has some excellent video's on you tube... and your never to old to learn.... [like me] I really enjoy those video's and he's got me thinking to upgrade once again... Anyway Happy Digging to all! Peace, Wingding
