Hey guys,
Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Andrew and I am from New Hampshire. I've been metal detecting on and off for over 10 years. I am a land surveyor, so as I'm doing a job, I'm constantly on the lookout for old home sites or other areas to detect. currently I'm swinging a Garrett GTI 1500 which I picked up 3 or 4 years ago. My best find is probably an 1863 civil war token which I found in my grandmothers yard in Pennsylvania when I was 15 or 16. Right now we have at least 3 ft of snow on the ground here in NH, so I'm using my spare time to research potential sites to detect once the snow melts. I look forward to reading everyone's stories and seeing everyone's finds, as well as sharing some of my own! Happy Hunting!
