Greetings from sunny So California

I'm new to the hobby since June 2013. I've got a Whites MXT Pro with the 300 coil and a DD small coil. I've done some beach runs (my MD is very poor near/in the salt water, but many clad/newer coins found in the dry sand). I'm mostly doing gold nugget prospecting. Haven't found one yet with the MD, but I'm also sluicing and have found some of the yellow stuff I'm still getting use to my MD and realize there is an apprentice learning curve with any new hobby. I sure just enjoy being out in uncrowded nature swinging the coil. Just spent a weekend camping in Mojave, and had a couple of nice trips to the Kern river. I'm looking for other people to go out with, and look forward to getting to know you all.
