grind stone? maybe?

found this on a recently cleared bank of a swampy creek that used to be part of the MS. there are no other stones like this in the area, all we have are the flat and jagged fieldstones (thats what we call em) all three sides have circular depressions, all the corners and edges are completely smooth. its extremely heavy for its size, not that that has anything to do with it, but just a little more info. thoughts?

I know. My main Target is bottles, but I love history in general, so I keep an eye out for anything. I've happened to have come across several POSSIBLE Indian artifacts lately... Possible being the key

Personally to me it looks like a old brick from a old home just to big imo to be a grinder.
