Ground really dry

The ground out by me is really dry can hardly cut a decent plug So I forced my self to only dig fer sure's. Then I hit the river with two of my boys and my grandson we got 32 smallies altogether Not to shabby of a weekend.

I hear you about the ground Needle! I am in NW IL and ugh it's been terrible. I am afraid to kill grass if I do any digging anywhere. We just got nailed with about a 10 minute downpour early yesterday evening and am hoping that will help. Must feed my addiction!!! =D
