GTA 1000 Power Master

[04 Diesel]

Just got a GTA 1000 Power Master, just wondering if someone could give me some pointers, what to look for? I have a Ace 250, GTA is different. Thanks.

How long have you had yours? Do you find it hard to pinpoint with yours? I have a 10 inch Hot Head coil with mine, difficult to pinpoint. I need to get an eight inch coil for mine.

I think Pinpointing with a smaller coil is easier.Keep practicing you will get better at it.

The 8.5 inch coil is easy to pinpoint with. The 4.5 inch sniper is even easier.

I have owned an old GTA1000 for about 15 years now. If you are committed to learning it - it will help you make some nice finds. Experience with this machine is the best teacher. "Hunted Out" is not in my vocabulary. I continue to use this old machine to make some really great finds.

Thanks guys, I have been getting discourged with it lately. Not finding alot with it, I will keep trying.

Make a test garden. Try different areas maybe its not the detector.
