GTI 2500 or DFX?

I plan on buying a new detector in the spring, its between the Garret GTI 2500 or the Whites DFX. Which one would you chose and why. Thanks

I'd buy a garrett, whites is overrated in my own opinion MARK

If you do decide to go the white Route, why not go for the MXT? Its as deep and sensitive as the DFX but a lot easier to use. And you'll invest less of your hard earned into it. IMHO the DFX is over complicated and takes too much time to learn. I spent too much time trying to get the best out of it an not enough time detecting with it.
