Thanks Don, I've been doing a little research do you remember if you had tabs like the one shown at the rear, or did yours have a "bar" that was secured with rivets?

Jadocs I think I still have my original laying around here somewhere. It was from the 60's and had the same tabs as your find.

Over the years as a Scout, I had several tie slides; perhaps at least one of each kind (tabs and bar).
