The wife picked up our last two halves boxes of the year. First box has no enders. Second box had 7 silver enders on the top, 10 silver enders on the bottom. Haven't looked close yet but I'm assuming they're all 40%ers. The best box we've ever had (years ago) had 55 silvers.

Guesses as to how many silvers are in the box total?

I guess the holiday silver is flowing early.

I'll guess 75. 70-40%ers and 5-64s.

30 40%, 2 90% =32

You're in for a dream box twitch! 104 40%

Some of you are pessimists! and a few optimists mixed in. I rarely post pictures but I figure it's worth it here.

I think it's a safe bet you exceed your best box. Beyond that, I offer no prediction. Eagerly awaiting the results though!

I'll be bold. My guess is that I wish I had that box. Oh, and 246 total.

I'll guess 66 silvers total , without any mention of 40's vs. 90's .

OK so we're through the box. And so far Mr Silver Stash is the closest. Couple of interesting stats, ALL 50 ROLLS HAD SILVER IN THEM! That's right, not a single skunk roll in the entire box. In fact, only 2 rolls didn't have multiple silvers in them.

1 silver rolls = 2
2 silver rolls = 6
3 silver rolls = 10
4 silver rolls = 14
5 silver rolls = 6
6 silver rolls = 5
7 silver rolls = 4
8 silver rolls = 1
9 silver rolls = 2 (weighing 230.04g & 229.81g, no enders either roll)

So if you're doing the math that totals up to 214 silvers! It's a double dream box. Break down is below:

1964 - 4
1965 - 13
1966 - 16
1967 - 62
1968D - 81 (45 rolls had at least 1 '68)
1969D - 38

Tons of AU/BU coin in the box. Still need to check them for errors / varieties. Maybe mot importantly I've asked the wife to call the bank tomorrow and see if we get 5x or 10x or however many boxes they're willing to order on the off chance that I catch the rest of the dump. Wish me luck, although after today I don't think I can even hope to hit it again next week. For those of you keeping score this is also my 544th box of halves. The fun part of the box was that I only opened ~6-7 of the rolls and the boys opened the rest of them. Photo's below. Thanks for looking. Oh, and the other box produced 4 40%ers, making it a 218 silver day crushing my previous record of 84. Also 9 silvers in a MWR is a record for me. We opened the enders rolls last and had 135 silvers before opening any of the enders.

A mega box! Congrats on the late Christmas present!

It's been awhile since we've seen a dream box here. Congrats, that had to get your blood pumping.

Wow. Haven't had a box like that in YEARS.

Congrats gives us hope. I would order some more boxes quick and see if there is more of the dump left for you. Good luck

Thanks everyone. I called my pick-up banked and tripled next weeks order. Maybe I'll catch the tail of this lot and score another good box (or two). Still a bit in shock that I found 214 silvers in a box - didn't figure I'd ever score that large. Now I just need to find a dream box of 90%ers and a seated liberty coin and I'll be done with CRH'ing.

Awesome box Twitch, I enjoyed all the photos and the silver details!

Sweet cull of silver. I'm glad that you are able to enjoy the hunt with family, and especially happy that good fortune blessed you. You are a dedicated hunter. So much that it appears that you chose to paint your dinette room Loomis Yellow.

Congratulations ! I'm so happy you almost quadrupled my 66 guess - Happy hunting in 2018.
