Guild used to be made in Rhode Island, USA, but in late 90's production was moved overseas. The American made Guilds are valuable, and very well made.

Thats happens my friend did the exact same thing with a TV

I made myself a promise, that never again would I let a fantastic deal get away from me. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve felt the sting of hesitation. Recently, a fella on facebook marketplace had an AT Pro - 6 months old - extra coil - carrying case, and digging tool. “Listed about an hour ago”, said the ad. He was only 30 short miles away. I pondered on it, for an hour. It was already gone when I went to message him.

It happen today to some guy at a garage sale that I stopped at. He was first at a lot of vintage items, specifically knives and Harley Davidson items. As I'm looking around, I picked up a vintage Harley Davidson patch, and the seller, an older gentleman says, "you can take that", in other words, he gave it to me for free. The guy that was right next me looks up, and gives me this look like "I was going to buy that"! I smiled thinking "yes, you were"! I thanked the gentleman, and the other guy walks away, with his tail between his legs! :-) I'm thinking, rookie, never, ever set anything down that you have the slightest inclination of buying. Great lesson for him. I bet you he won't do it again! Life's little lessons! You will definitely score, best of luck to you.

yep thats good advice for sure

Years ago I did amp repair work for local music stores. I was in a small guitar/violin shop in Spry Pa. At the time this place was so small it didn’t even have a red light. I was returning an amp, the owner was upstairs cutting the check and I was checking out the guitars hanging on the wall. Took a quick glance at an old Tobacco Sunburst, with double cutaway w 2 P90 pickups. Right away I thought it was a knock off of a Paul Special, the one everyone copies. Then I looked at the headstock, GIBSON! Jackpot! Mint, never played. Pulled out my AMX and bought it on the spot. That move almost cost me a divorce. Bought it for $300, value now is around $3k. Dumped her as$, still have the guitar.
