i love old guitars almost as much as detecting! 
It's not in too bad of shape. Maybe a few scratches. My sons got it at his house. I'll ask him to take a pic and post it. As I recall it is missing the pick guard. Someone told me that there was an article recently in vintage guitar(?) that said Tom Petty recently purchased one. I'm not a picker, but it was too cool a deal to pass up.
