was out doing yard sales and ended up with a permission to hunt for a short time
i got my first butt plate but not sure how old or what gun
maybe someone can tell us from these pictures
it does look like it was hand formed
found out that it was from 1720 to 1750 Pennsylvania squirrel gun (32 to 45 cal)
sand cast brass hand finished
