H. Dumaige Bronze Statue

I went a little bit out of my comfort zone today at an estate sale on half price day. I picked up several things I know I'll do ok on. I kept coming back to this bronze but just couldn't pull the trigger. After coming home to think about it for a while I headed back & bit the bullet. It stands a little over 17" tall. Looking at it closely I think it might have been gilt at some point in the past. If it was it was quite a while ago because it has a pretty nice patina. Here's a couple quick pics of the statue & the marks.

Nice find. Etienne-Henry Dumaige , French 1830-1888

He has numerous auction records. And please do not try to polish or clean it.

Too late. I got out the drill & the wire brush after I posted. Polished her back up to a high shine. Then I painted the dress hot pink & the hair blond. Looks great now.
