Meh- not much on the finds, but did a little sand fishing today with the kids on the beach.

Beats scraping ice off the windshield I guess. 74 and warm. Venice Fl.

(Florida is full by the way, no more room, we are full of blue headed people... don't head south- thank you)

It rang up as copper...

If you look in the center bottom you will see an expended .30 cal round.

Venice, during WWII, was a military flying field and they did lots of training. They towed targets off the beach and strafed them.

Still pulling up little shards or copper (stuck in the claw, the tiny piece right of the big one) and the bigger .30 rounds.

That's an old copper screw as well. The round ring is a compression ring from a spark plug. Probably from the Red Barron's plane.

Have you ever tried Daytona Beach after spring break?....there should be some goodies among the beer caps and pull tabs.

Yep, thought of it, but it's a far far away drive for me. I'm on the opposite side of the state and down a bit.

I wouldn't want to steal all of those good folks pull tabs and foil. Just not fair...

Yes, annual visit dates to be determined. I have a matter of jury duty that's going to hit about then...I never want to hoard the snow, I in fact anyone who wants some is welcome to my share! Lol!
