Had a beautiful day hunting with Jim and his Mom. The time line for the artifacts at this site is always very wide and plentiful. I know I'm going to find something neat as soon as my feet hit the ground. The KG I dug is a 17?? Its still green... Two Indians and a Buffalo. The bent up spoon is silver and made by, RW & Sons. I also dug a stainless fork that was made for the US services in 1942. A presidential token of Warren G Harding. There are allot of little's along with a broken point. The bracelet Jim's Mom found is the mystery of the day, can't wait to hear the story on this one... Arty

Your flagged! Just kidding it was great being with you too. You are one of the good guys Arty. Great finds and I am glad you got to get out with us again. But you gotta start letting me find the big coins :whip2:

That is one pretty KGII copper, the soil was very kind to it! I believe the Presidential token is more modern than period?

Don

Hey Art Ill trade you my George for yours. Its Prettieerrr. :laughing9:

Nice Dig's Arty :icon_thumright: Some of the item's there look familiar?

That is still a lot of targets out of that field. Nice looking KG II  It's a "young head" George II and that would date it between 1729 and 1739.

Your presidential token is out of a box of cracker jacks from the 1930s. Pretty cool.

Thanks Don. The sandy spots are high on the fields and seem to let coppers age nicely.

Steve, Thanks for the KG ID. The amount of targets is amazing. Not enough time in the day... Arty

One of my childhood favorites. I remember digging right to the bottom of the box for the prize and peanuts. Arty
