Low tide in the late afternoon always draws me to the water's edge. I made three passes up and down the beach as the tide was coming in. I found this dog tag thing, then this chain about 8 feet apart. I thought they were a pair, except that the chain was still clasped?

Found this earring at the water's edge, right where the waves are swooping up, it was a tough dig. I thought it was the usual junk, but when I took the picture, I noticed how heavy duty the clasp is. It has a spring loaded action. I'll have to investigate this a little more. This was a very light signal, I almost gave up on it when it was tough to dig out. I was really surprised to see it, I was expecting another piece of thinned out aluminum.

Last pass back to the stairs found a bunch of clad, more quarters than usual.

Here is the entire haul for the day.

Thanks for looking, HH, Jack
