HAD A NEW FENCE PUT YESTERDAY AND FOUND FANCY 1880S PIPE HOLDER PICS

hi everyone had a new back fence put up yesterday and when the wife was showing me the new fence and telling me how great it looked, my mind was was else ware. yes my eyes where scanning the ground for relics. bingo i spotted this.who cares about new fences.lol the holder or clamp took a bit to clean up as it was covered in layers of paint.the brass plate says CAMBELL & CONNELLY & sons. BENDIGO.pics of find and the fence and the back of my place.

Thats a very cool relic, how big is the hole, what size pipe is it designed to hold? Im an old fitter, Ive hung thousands of feet of screwpipe in my day & Ive never seen anything like that TinPan! Great find! What is a billabong? I was thinking I had one back in high school, but..........I think that was something different.
