Dug these up a couple days ago in field out front of house. New to all this, so I get excited digging up a nail. You can only imagine my excitement when I not only dug these up, then went and researched what they were.

Excellent finds, I'd say you're in a great spot, possibly a camp or picket site. Better keep the location a secret!

Thank you for all the great replies! I enjoy finding a beer can top, or nail, so finding this stuff is so exciting. Most of the time I have no idea what it is, but posting on here and seeing comments and great! I am truly an addicted dirt digger.

what year is the half dime?

In doing some research based on the design on the back of the dime, I believe its 1850s-1860s. The reverse side is completely unrecognizable.

That GA button is a killer find. You're off to a great start. Some diggers spend a decade trying to find a GA state seal button.
