Hallmark Help

[Kwak]

Cleaned up the best I could these hallmarks are on the backside of a spoon 8 1/2 inches long ....can't find anything...the top middle seem the easiest to recognize .....any help would be appreciated.....thanks

They are really hard to see in the photo, can't tell. You could try and take a magnifier and put it over your lens maybe get a better close up that way. Good luck !!

The 5 petal cartouche is indicative of Austrian silver hallmarks ; almost positive that's what you have

Yes I brought it somewhere where they knew all about ....thanks for the help my fellow hunters! ....on my way home stopped at goodwill and picked this up .....is it silver ?!?

I would test it as I have seen several pieces like that that were stamped 925 but were actually just a "white metal".

You have to be very careful when buying Mexico silver its kinda like the China market flooded with illegal fakes !!
