I had only heard of the Jacob's Rod before then I found a whole set with the instruction book on eBay. The instruction book looks very similar to the book posted on this thread:

The print on the book is too fine for me to read comfortably so I scanned it in. A very interesting read so far. I'll see if I can figure it out.
Has anyone come across one of these before?
