Another week, another $20 in halves, $20 in nickels, $10 in pennies...
The results:
Halves - skunked again. Are you guys sure there's still some silver out there?
Nickels - 1946, 1949.
Wheaties - 1945, 1950D, 1953D, 1957D in excellent shape, still a little shiny.
Copper (1959-1981) - 255.
Canadian - 4 nickels (1976, 1986 x2, 1989); 28 pennies (1940, 1961, 1962, 1964,
1965 x2, 1968, 1969 x3, 1970, 1973 x2, 1975, 1977, 1978, 1981, 1983 x3, 1984,
1989 x3, 1991, 1993, 2001 x2.
And yet again - 4 more penny rolls with dimes in them, now for a total of 8 dimes.
Some of the penny rolls were nasty this time. When I opened 6 or 8 rolls, I got a lot of short white animal hairs, as well as some pennies that had blotchy silver smears on them. I suspect someone had been rubbing their pennies in mercury (but for what reason I do not know). Yuck. :P
