I think it might be a loaded dice it rolls a 5 most of the time.....LOL

Thanks my youngest boy lay claim on it he was with me when we found it. We put the clad in the md upgrade fund, its slowly getting there just not sure what to get v3i or AT pro are my best guesses so far.
 

That's a neat find & probably made from a musketball. As far as the age- I would think if it was old it would have a white patina like the old bullets... Maybe someone brought it for show & tell?
 

No white patina (looks kinda like wax coating) so good chance its not old. Show and tell is what I was thinking too.
 

Most of the time these are mid-1800s in age. Not to say that one could've been made later on... BUT, ivory and bone were often used later on, since such materials were lighter to carry, and didn't require valuable lead to make. So I would have to guess mid-1800s on this find. Very cool find. A lead die has been on my wish list for years...
