When you're detecting with a bad cold, it's amazing just how much snot can run from your nose. Must have been a couple of gallons at least. Still battled through, and was rewarded with a couple of hammered silver coins. A short cross, and a large broken foreign one (not sure of id). A small Roman bronze coin, and a Medieval leather decoration. The picture does not show it very well, but I think these types of decoration depict an erect you know what. A mate had one years ago, that had added detail to prove it.
