HWood Roman Site - Day 4 - Finished...

We spent 2.5hrs gridding the last little bit of the Roman Site.
My mate had 7 scrappies but did manage a Hammered Penny. He was happy, as he hasn't had many.
Ancient Bronze Awl
5 roman Coins (1 silver washed)

& an Ancient Awl (Leather working tool).

The vows coin appears to be
Constantine
VO/TIS/XX on altar with globe, three stars above
BEATA TRAN-QVILLITAS (Blessed or Happy Tranquility) around
Don in SoCal
PS: If ID accurate, this basic type is very common. The book by Alten and Zschucke lists and illustrates 179 varieties from Trier alone!
