Any of you pack when your detecting? I'm sure some of the places we go aren't the safest places to be alone...woods, parks. The odd bear or mountain lion might think about having himself a snack...even if we take one or two buddy's along with us. Not to mention muggers. I've heard of people having to fend off attackers with their digger. I guess people see the metal detectors and think that you have treasure. It would be nice to find all the morgans and barbers all you guys get. All I ever get is clad.

Neat find gypsy, the best I have done is a half of one but the neat thing is I found out who it belonged to. Mine was different, and had been in the ground about 55 years according to the owners sister who identified it.
HH you find such neat stuff, I do hope you find the loot that went with it.
