Holy crap, I found the most beautiful celt I,ve ever seen!! Loggers were clearing off A tract of land next to my buddies farm. When I laid my eyes on this under a tree with the roots exposed I started crying,I mean I looked up tp the sky and screamed THANK YOU GOD!!!!!!!! This baby is over seven inches long and three inches wide and this is not all we found!! We are heading back in the morning,I,m calling in to work. UNBEIEVABLE, PERFECT, WHAT A POLISH,I T DON,T GET ANY BETTER I THINK!

It had been a while for me too.What a way to end my 2007 .I got my operation yesterday.I,m doin fine. My walking days are over till spring.

Yes Bean,lucky indeed!! My freind and I found a total of five celts,two axes,a broken gorget,a museum quality dovetail he found.I,ll get pic when I get chance.Several other decent points and a broken Adena tht would have been a killer.

I,ll be able to go back to work in a few weeks.I just heard there was going to be an airpoet built on hill above river. Sounds like I,ll be hitting that hard come spring if I can get permission. Despite the drought it was a good year.It is raining now. Why not in the spring?

I saw my freind today and he said he found a chipped flint celt and more arrowheads. I,ll post pic,s as soon as I get chance. This logging outfit has got wind to whats been going on and been trying to keep him away.But our freind owns the land.

nice piece,cant ever find an axe or a celt nice find.

I took a walk up road and found a nice point Sunday. I had a hard time prying it from frozen ground. I,ll post pic soon. Spring will be here before you know it. Can,t wait!!!
