John, I’m sure your intentions are in the right place with your post, but here is my impression. For those of us who have served, my guess is most Vets would not call this a ‘Happy’ day. Rather, it’s a solemn day to remember those who paid the Ultimate Sacrifice for the freedoms we all enjoy. It’s also a day to remember the psychological and physical sacrifices of Wounded Warriors who are putting their lives back in order as best they can.
