I went out for two hours after getting off early from work. 4th signal out pops a William 3rd copper! It's my second one in a year!!! WOW! That coin has witnessed 320 New Years celebrations!!!

Right next to the hole was a holed copper and a salt glazed marble. I thought I stumbled upon a colonial marble game!

I was stoked ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1451615441.142951.webp

I later found out it's a Bennington marble c. 1850- so I guess it wasn't a home run:(

Nice saves steve, you've had one hell of a year

Nice treasures. Always nice to dig 300+ year old relics. I really like that marble. Good luck in 2016. :headbang:

Awesome hunt! I love the old coppers. :occasion14:

I wonder if Dick Clark lost that old copper? The marble is very cool Scraps.

Thanks Chris. I made up my list too early apparently . Are you doing a "best of"? You had quite a year yourself

Perfect note to end the year!
Can't wait to see how the next begins!

Thx for looking IH. Right now it's looking like January 2016 is going to have some digging in it for sure down here. And yes, I couldn't think of a better way to end 2015 than some 17th Century copper

Now that's a nice way to end the year. We've been lucky with the weather here in the Northeast and it's nice to get some great rewards when you're out swinging that CTX.

nice saves Steve but Im wondering where the long curly grey hair is

WTG Steve, you sure had a great hunt on the last day of 2015. Love the 1600's Large copper. You did way better than me yesterday.

HEY SCRAP NICE FINDS , DIDNT RECONIZE YOU WITHOUT YOUR WIG ..

You've been finding some great stuff. I have yet to find a William Copper. Congrats.......Hogge

Thx GWD. It's funny how copper coin condition varies so greatly despite being found nearby one another. Just a single brushing on this revealed its identity. I knew right away it was a W3. I found the marble right there as well And was thinking 300 year old marble!

Haha that's funny Dave! And that marble is cool right?! It went right in the display...

Happy 2016

Nice work bud, you have some good spots!

Really cool note to end the year on. Wishing you a great 2016 and looking forward to all the discoveries you'll post.

Shhhhhhhhh! Don't talk about the weather....it'll decide to go into deep freeze if we mention it. Lol

Thx Don, anytime I can pull a 1600's copper is great, but the last day of the year made it extra sweet.

Haha, probably rotted away by now at the site in Florida. I still have the bugs from the moss though...
