Hi. I'm Velvet120 from Orange County N.Y.
I haven't been involved in Metal Detecting for a very long time and now that I'm back I see that the machines have changed a lot from the 1980's..Actually seem much simpler from watching videos of other detectors..
Anyway I was wondering if someone could recommend a digging shovel they like preferably not to heavy. With age comes bad knees..lol..so the shovel seems like it might help.Thanks..

Welcome aboard, @Velvet120 . It all depends on what you like to use. Some prefer D-handle, T-handle, ball, straight... long, short, ... countless specs.
The best thing to do is visit a manufacturer's website and see what you like. Personally, I can recommend PredatorTools. They are very friendly, competent, and helpful. Doing business with them is a pleasure.
