There are a lot of islands in the Susquehanna. I had no idea we still had pirates as late as the early 1900s!

yea I would think the smaller plots would be the most likely & Smartest Choices.



though less land to search, Less likely to be of Interest to others ,
and less likely to have someone Farming or Living on them back then

they Had Pirates Running the Canals from Philly all the way up to Schuylkill Haven in Schuylkill County also. that wasn't 20th century though .
though I suppose as long as there are water routes there will be some type of piracy happening

Wouldn't surprise me if the island is long gone.The way the Susquehanna has flooded over the years it is probably in the Chesapeake bay by now!!
