Walking over a small rise I came up on a large blade tip sticking out.

After checking it out, I was hoping it was a nice harrison county dovetail.

here it is as I seen it. Can you spot it? zoom in.

Man what a heart breaker .... that’s a sweet material , that’s one of those ones that even though I know I’ll never find the other half I would dig around for 45 minutes anyway just hoping to get lucky

That's nice. I found one like that where that hinge had been flaked off. The good thing about these is that you know that it's the way the Indian left it and not damaged in modern times.

I have found many archic relics in the field that produced this relic. Not too much hardstone and no slate, yet.

This was the first relic made of harrison county. The field next to my house used to give up a number of relics made of harrison county back in the 80s. I dont find too much in that field any more.
Harrison county flint is my favorite material
