Hartford, Ct trip

Greetings!

I'll be in Hartford next month for the AARL 100 year convention (ham radio) and I'd like to slip out for some MD'ing. Can anyone suggest a/several parks or schools that are open to MD'ing? I'd really love to find a pre-1900 coin (after a year of hunting, my oldest is a 1901 Indian Head penny, but I'd be happy with almost anything. I'm not in charge of my schedule for the trip, unfortunately, so I won't be able to set up specific hunt times .

Ok Folks,

I'm looking to fill my time on Thursday morning, THIS WEEK. I can't find anything online that says "I was kicked out of East Harford, Alumni Park" or West Hartford is fine...Are there any parks in Hartford that are definitively MD friendly or very unfriendly? (I'm trying to avoid asking authorities, which can cause issues...)
