I am sick and tired of this Northern Pennsylvania winter so I decided that I was going to get out today no matter what. I lasted about 15 minutes and 3 holes until the 30 degree temperature and sideways sleet got the best of me. The first hole I dug was the 1891 IH. The second was the wheatie and the last was the neat little Pennsylvania Railroad Pin. Not too exciting, but was nice to get out, even if it was just for fifteen minutes.

Ya did good for the few minutes you did get out!

the weathers almost here bud! nice quick hunt. willy

Wish i could send you some nice weather in the mail. That's not bad for 15 min, can't wait to see what you find when your weather breaks. HH

I know what you mean. Still can't get out here in WNY near Buffalo. Nice first finds!

That is why I can't wait to make my permanent move to Florida in June!! I did stay out yesterday for a few hours and believe me if I had any clue how cold it would be I would not have gone. My fingers were so cold I had to put 2 pair of gloves on after lunch!! Well I got 2 mercs so I guess it was worth it!

Not bad at all for a short hunt. I'm outa here myself in a few months. Tired of 50 one day then snow the next. I've had my heat on since September, and now it's March. Supposed to get 10 inches of snow Friday...............again!!! Oh, the madness!!I usually have to keep it on until April. Tired of the high gas bills just to start >:(

Ya gotta tuff-it-out. Just think what you would have found if you stayed out for 30 minutes.
