My Funniest Pareidolia Find 😂

I was walking along Sunset Bay Oregon, enjoying the beach, when I stubbed my toe on a rock. Ouch! I looked down, ready to blame the rock... and it was staring right back at me. That's how I discovered Rockface Nathan! Sometimes nature has a funny way of getting your attention!

Told these two events a few years ago.... One of my brothers got a summer job with the county helping cleanup the county parks. He was raking a beach on a lake and uncovered a large cent, so I figured I'd get there bright and early the next weekend. I pull into the parking lot and there's already a car there, so I figure they are probably fishing.
I grab my detector and headphones and start working the far end of the beach when I see two couples swimming. I thought it was a little early for a swim when the four of them come racing out of the lake. They yelled at me because they thought I was going to shock the water. Turns out they were skinny dipping so I yelled back that they shocked me.

My brother proceeds to tell me about another park he was working at that sounded promising and this one had a walking / biking trail around the entire park. once again, I get there early on a Saturday and when walking down to the lake, I see a couple coming towards me, riding a tandem bike. When they get next to me, I can see that they are only wearing shoes and a smile! I called my brother later and told him I don't want to know about any more parks.

Hahah! That's too funny. We have a place called Toketee Hot Springs where I live and everyone is butt naked there.

I was detecting a particular area and started finding lots of surface targets. I decided to grid the area with a slight overlap so I wouldn't miss anything. Went back and forth a few more passes and then realized why I was finding so much of the same sort of targets. My saves pouch had a hole in it and I WAS finding the same targets!

I went detecting in the lake, but there were 3 other guys in the shallows, so I went in as deep as I could without submerging my head. Hunted for about a half hour before I realized my detector was on the screen to choose sound output type. Doh!
Chose the bone conducting headphones output and found 2 pull tabs in the next few minutes, then...nothing for a half hour. Looked at the screen and the detector was off, dead battery! (forgot to charge it the night before)

On the masthead of true magazine, was this (sic): Tis strange but true that truth is stranger than fiction. About 1997 I was scanning a local park near where I lived in the Denver, area. I had found a silver half dollar and was admiring it, when a lady walked by and ask me what I found. I showed her, and she said... "That's mine!" Considering it was about 3 inches down, there was no way it was her's. I told her I would give it to her, if she could tell me the date that was on it? She guessed wrong! Some people are just ugly!
