I have a pair of the "Grey Ghost" headphones. Comfortable wearing all day long, individual ear volume control.......

I bought a pair of gray colored Whites' brand headphones for 29 dollars. Each ear has it own volume control. I have a bounty hunter also. The only problem is the cord it's too springy. But if you twist the whole thing so all the coils reverse it is great.

Ha. Yea, You know how they coil wire? Well the coils on the head phones are super stiff so when I would swing the detector they would pull on my head. If you take a coiled cable and twist it the wrong way all the little coils will flip and then it won't be so springy and it will stretch with less weight.

I was given a cheap set of headphones by the last dealer I bought a detector from, the cable was straight.

After watching the video, I coiled up the cable on a 1/4 rod and CAREFULLY placed it in my oven at 200 degrees f for about 35 minutes, after cooling off this is the result, it seemed to have worked.
