Headphone cord?

Hi. currently researching the Manticore for a future purchase. I have been surfing Manticore videos and have found how to pair the wireless headphones to the machine. Just curious as to why there is a Headphone cord (Not referring to the charging cord) that comes with it? None of the videos mention it's purpose during unboxing videos. Just curious on what occasions would you use the headphones with the cord VS wireless?

I don't recall my Manticore having a headphone cord when I got it. Only thing I can think of would be needing one to connect to a different headset that can be used under water. The headphones it comes with are for land use. Bluetooth will not work when the machine is submerged.

I have seen them unpacked in the Headphone case on a couple of videos. I saw one video where the user explained he was using the cord because he was having problems getting the headphones to pair because of other nearby detectors. I had assumed that once the headphones are paired you don't have to repeat that ritual every time you fire up the detector?
