Paid the price in pain again bees got me again this time on the back of the neck, was a little smarter this time ran w/ the shovel and had suppiles a good distance away.Anways not a bad day digging found a few for the frame alot of brokes hopefully do some matching up later on.Keep on lookin...

DUDE its raining finally.Hopefully it'll work out and you can get up here this weekend.
Thanks for the replys folks.It's an interesting site.I find these areas that are hot spots as we've dubbed them usally start out finding heated sandstone then large chunks of flint hardly any small flakes another odd thing usally no matches of brokes they seem to be seperated for some odd reason and another odd thing is i find alot more bases than tips.All of this stuff was 2 to 3 inches deep and 1 blade was a surface find.Keep on looking.

Did you know that some old timers still use the bladlets for cap and ball guns.Really cool love to find the arrowheads they came off of thanks for the view

Maybe a re-tool camp. The tips broke off in use so they save the shafts, dicard the bases and make new points for the shafts. Large chunks could be cores points were struck from and sandstone just rocks from a fire ring. Just a theory. Good pics for sure, Thanks

Hey Pick nice haul when you find spalls like that I always thought they saved them for later and the brokes also rework them.
