Hey everybody!! I swung, I sweated to the verge of heatstroke, and it was worth every minute!! I keep going back to the hunted out site with my new Deus settings and digging every signal. Most of the targets are so deep that the VDI numbers don't show on the display. Getting a lot of brassy nails and hardware but the good stuff is in there with it. The pewter button has a 2 on it, and it was found today within 20 feet of where I found the 63rd and 19th Regiment of Foot buttons in the winter. Also within 30 feet of that was what I believe is a flintlock frizzel? I spent 3 and a half hours in a 75 yard square and I was swinging slow and digging every target. Got a couple of other buttons and what may be an inkwell to hold quill pens in 2 pieces. The heat is horrible but the spot won't be there much past winter so I am hammering the hell out of it. Any thoughts or help on the Id's would be great!! Thanks for looking, and I am going to gather up all the stuff I have found from this site and take pics and post them all together when I finally can't hunt there anymore. It has been amazing so far!!

Sounds like you got the deus dialed in. I go out many times and find nothing good but like you say its worth every minute good job!!!!

nice finds again! Those new settings are really working for you

The button pics are sideways....if you turn your head to the left that's the way its supposed to be LOL!! :)

That "2" pewter could be a button from the1812 war. Don't have my book at work, but somebody will. Nice group of finds!

Kudos to you for persevering/perspiring through the heat and humidity-I have been doing a lot of that lately and I know that it will push you to the limit.

I'm pretty sure that the piece that you think is a frizzen is actually part of a trigger guard.

Yes a trigger guard, I'm now trying to picture what the whole thing would look like:)
