Over 8 inches in 24 hrs. my son is sluicing and finding gold I'm waiting until the sun comes out tomorrow. We have major flooding all over the county stay home stay safe. A little pinch from today my son came up looking like a drowned rat. But a good sign of what's to come the flow knocked his feet out from under him and he said his bucket was heading towards the river. Happy Mining

My son and me started the new year with some sluicing water was just right in this seasonal drainage. Another day and it will be too low. More rain on the way so a few more days of mining we found a little gold. It made for a great day my wife walked down with one of our dogs so a family outing. The gold was mostly super fine and small all the bird shot we found looked giant compared to the gold. We moved the operation up closer to the house and started finding a few pickers. We are going to try again in the morning but may go metal detecting on a new spot.

Sorry to hear about your dredge!!!!! If I lived closer I'd gladly help you recover your parts and help you put it back in running condition !

Yeah it’s a bummer I had just upgraded to a Honda motor and put a lot of work in on making a really trick swivel nozzle. Anyone have a dredge for sale?

I have a Keene 5" triple sluice w/8hp Briggs , Have not used it since Arnold shut us down , PM if interested , It is too big for me anymore , when we can get back in the water again I still have a 3"

Yeah we’ve had heavy rains here in Alabama the river i prospect on is out of its banks I did find a little gold on most upper bank near the road
