They do turn black if they have been in the salt water for a while.
 

That's a nice haul. Wish I lived a little closer to the beach. (I'm 40 min. away from Newport Beach). Can't always get away.

awesome finds! I was going to head to the beach tomorrow. we had a heavy day of storms and winds today but i have to work tomorrow. by the time i leave, it's getting dark.

The chinese looking coin bracelet, it looks like those stones are faceted? Now am trying to figure out what gemstone it is, ite either, natural citrine or natural carnelian.. which means the colors were not enhanced.. I have seen natural carnelian extremely light to dark orange.. so it looks like your bracelet is one of those two stones.. I was gonna say sunstone, but I think its way way to light to be that gemstone..
