🔎 UNIDENTIFIED Heel plates?

Found these at the same homesite where I found 11 flat buttons and a 1781 1/2 reales. Have them soaking in vinegar now so maybe better pictures tomorrow.

Hard to tell, but that's what they look like (heel or toe, some kind of shoe tap). If they have holes in them (for attaching to the shoes) that's probably it.
