Should have the no. 57 in raised glass around the shoulder. I think all their ketchup/sauce bottles had it at one time.

Nope no 57

Yep, it's a ketchup. Heck, from here it looks like it might be even later than the 50s. Get ready to find a lot of these!

Yeah? Earlier than 50s you think?

Gotta see the base cleaned up, but yeah it looks pretty young. Dig deeper!

Is there a mark on the base? Look for an O in a square. That would indicate an Owens Glass bottle from 1919 to 1929 era. Ketchup are pretty common but I still hold onto the older Owens examples.yours does look a bit more modern though.

Bottom reads:

I get a 1940-50's vibe from it

Tygart Valley Glass Company, Grafton, West Virginia (1895-1928) and Washington, Pennsylvania (1928-1959). A maker of many types of generic packer jars and bottles. Their mark underwent some subtle changes over the years, and the last variant, which closely resembles a narrow inverted triangle,(with the downward-pointing serifs of the “T” crossbar almost, but not quite, touching the upper portions of the “V”) , was evidently used from about 1940 to 1959. On earlier items the mark is reported (by Toulouse) to have had a somewhat wider “V”. Tygart Valley was purchased by Brockway Glass Company in 1959.

Now that we can see the base, I agree with Jim's 40s-50s estimate. Maybe not the earliest 40s or latest 50s, but somewhere in the middle.

Here is your makers mark that he has described:
