Hello, I am just getting started in this hobby. I have decided on the Ace 250 as my first detector, but I do have a question. Does the stock MD come with a water proof coil? I was going to order one last night, but the sight had showed two of them. One description said water proof head the other didn't. I saw some intro videos to the Ace 250 that showed it being used in shallow water, I'm confused. I don't want to order it and find out the hard way, that the stock coil is not water proof. I know the control box is not.

Most coils are waterproof. To be safe, smear silicone grease around connector cable.
