After 10 years of yearning over a metal detector and always having "better" things to spend my money, I finally took the plunge this morning and ordered a Tesoro Silver uMax. Lurking and reading large portions of the TreasureNet forum definitely helped push me over the edge into buying, and helped me decide the best detector for me! Now all I have to do is wait for my detector to get to me.....this is going to be the longest three days of my life! Even worse, it will arrive right when rain and cold set in. C'est la vie!

I'm excited to finally be able to join y'all here! I love reading this forum.
