Hello from Massachusetts, New to metal detecting

Hello all,

I'm new to metal detecting though I've wanted to do it since I was young. I am located in Pepperell, MA, on the border of New Hampshire. I recently purchased a Garrett Ace 250. I did a search today in a stream (brrr!!) and found an oxen shoe!

I hope to do this hobby for many years to come and I would love to connect with fellow enthusiasts in my area.
