Hello one and all, my name is Warren Kruger owner of Rockcyclelapidary I have been detecting since 2000 and wanted to melt down the gold and silver I found and turn into a new piece of jewelry or whatever . So I got into Metalsmithing and Cutting my own stones .grew up looking for fossils in my youth as my parents owned a rock shop in Seffner Florida East of Tampa.so my interest in hunting history goes way back. I have stories you would love to hear. Like the trip fossil hunting in port Charlotte Florida in the 70,s where we found around 500 megaladon shark teeth from 2 to 6” in length in one pre dredged canal from what I remember we filled 10 five gallon buckets with purfect teeth.thats a hunt I will never forget ... well looking forward to being here and never ever give up ..

Hello, I work in Port Charlotte at the hospital you would have known as St.Josephs in the 70's. Was wondering which canals you were referring to that held that plethora of sharks teeth ?
