HELLO FROM NEW JERSEY

Long time fisherman looking to expand my hobbies. I'm interested in finding old coins to collect. I am close to old areas that go back to colonial times, modern ball parks, tidal rivers, and a short drive to the beach. Already know of some really good places to hunt but can't settle on what equipment to start off with. Leaning towards the Tesoro Vaq or Compadre but can't decide.
